We’re really pleased to recognise two outstanding individuals this month: Ruby and Rian.
Ruby joined us in November 2024, initially seeking additional work alongside her university studies. At that time, Thrive was working with just one or two schools and it’s fair to say that people like Ruby have played a huge part in our growth since then.
She has been exceptional on every placement. Reliable, adaptable, and consistently delivering a high standard of support, Ruby brings a positive attitude to every setting and a genuine willingness to help every student she works with.
We’re incredibly grateful to have her as part of the Thrive team.
Rian joined us in early January following the unexpected end of his initial placement after just one month, through no fault of his own. Although understandably disappointing, he remained positive and keen to secure a new opportunity.
He quickly began a placement at Poles Apart and showed great flexibility, travelling between both the Exeter and Tiverton sites to maximise his experience and hours.
Since starting, he has made a strong impression, with the school already beginning the process of offering him a permanent contract. When we put Rian forward, the feedback was simple: “Couldn’t agree more, he is fantastic.”
