We’re working with a leading further education provider seeking an exceptional Head of Management Information Systems (MIS), Timetabling & Admissions to lead three high-performing teams and shape the future of data, systems, and analytics across the organisation.
The Role
In this pivotal senior leadership position, you will:

Lead, inspire, and develop outstanding MIS, Timetabling, and Admissions teams

Oversee all student data and statutory funding returns (ESFA, HESA, OfS)

Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness across systems

Drive automation and innovation to enhance efficiency and decision-making

Deliver high-quality timetables and a seamless admissions experience

Lead the reporting and analytics function, providing actionable insights for strategic growth

Shape the use of business intelligence and system automation to drive continuous improvement
This is a hands-on, strategic role at the heart of organisational performance — ensuring data, systems, and people work together to support growth, funding, and student success.
About You
You’ll bring a mix of technical expertise, leadership experience, and strategic vision.
Essential:

Degree or equivalent qualification
-
Extensive experience managing MIS or data systems in a large, complex organisation

In-depth understanding of FE funding structures and reporting requirements

Proven experience in timetabling and admissions management

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Track record of driving automation and innovation in system development
Desirable:

Knowledge of ProSuite (ProSolution, ProMonitor, ProPortal)
